Behind the Brand

Project.Bridal was founded by Öniz İpek Derman in 2017 in the following year of her wedding.

Öniz always had a big passion for couture and studied both Art Management and Fashion and Textile Design in Yeditepe University with full scholarship. She set up her career on fashion marketing, working for the most reputable fashion houses in Turkiye.

In 2016, while searching for her own wedding dress, Öniz had noticed that all the gowns in the market were in similar styles and cuts. In the age of endless possibilities, she was surprised by how wedding gowns have not changed a single bit since her childhood and there was no brand available which offers alternative styles for the non-traditional bride. She decided to merge her creative side and design education with the marketing experience she gained in 10 years to create a brand for the modern brides of today.

Project.Bridal was featured in various magazines including Vogue Wedding, Harper's Bazaar Wedding, L'Officiel Wedding, Marie Claire Wedding, Martha Stewart Weddings and many more...

Project.Bridal's motto is to create non-traditional, fashion-forward designs in a conventional and sustainable way. Each and every gown is a work of meticulous craftsmanship. Working with only high quality fabrics, attention to detail is the key trait in Project.Bridal's designs.
